A DRIVER who killed a motorcyclist by deliberately ploughing into him in a random attack scowls under a black eye in a chilling mugshot.
Paul Barrett, 42, followed Ryan Brindley, 43, on his bike as he reached speeds of up to 80mph.

Barrett then smashed into the dad deliberately – carrying the bike along the road on his car.
Ryan was eventually thrown from the vehicle to the ground where he was declared dead shortly after.
Barrett has now admitted manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility.

His mugshot shows him sporting an angry black eye and a cut on his forehead following the crash.
The horror unfolded just three days before Christmas last year as Barrett drove through the sleepy village at night.
He had left an address in Mere in his Volkswagen Touran for a pre-arranged appointment in Wilton.
Dashcam footage showed the driver clocking Ryan as he rode past in the opposite direction close to the Wyndham Arms pub.

Barrett changed direction and upped his speed to catch up with the motorcyclist.
He then deliberately rammed into the back of the bike.
Barrett was arrested and taken to hospital for assessment before being taken to custody.
In a tribute, Ryan’s family called him a “unique, one of a kind man who was loved by so many and will never be forgotten”.
Detective Chief Inspector Simon Childe, from the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “The killing of Ryan Brindley appears to have been an entirely random and unprovoked incident.
“When we were able to watch the dash cam footage from the car Barrett was driving, it was clear that he was driving around the Dinton area and then changed direction to follow Ryan when he spotted his motorcycle.
“We do not believe they were known to each other, or that there had been any previous interaction between the pair. It seems that Ryan was targeted entirely at random.
“I would like to pay tribute to Ryan’s family who have suffered such a sad loss, and thank them for the support they have shown during the police investigation.

“It is almost exactly a year to the day that Ryan was taken from them in the cruellest of circumstances and my thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time.”
