THE mum of a teen who lied about being raped by an Asian gang and shared pics of her “injuries” has not returned the £22k donated.
Eleanor Williams, now 22, constructed a web of lies that saw innocent men accused of rape and even sent to prison.

But last month, her lies were exposed and she was found guilty of eight counts of perverting the court of justice at Preston Crown Court.
The verdict followed an extraordinary three-year case which saw Williams construct a fake story that she had been abused from the age of 12.
Williams, then 19, used fake social media profiles, texted and even battered herself with a hammer to convince her community she was abused by a grooming gang.
Around £22,000 raised on JustGiving went to her mum Allison Johnston – who is now being urged by the man who launched the appeal to hand it to charity.
Shane Yerrell told the Mirror: “People donated out of the kindness of their hearts and we were all tricked. I keep messaging her but she keeps stalling and claims she needs to take legal advice.
“Her daughter was convicted more than a month ago, the money should be returned.
“The whole fundraising appeal was based on lies. It seems wrong for the family to have the cash.”
Her story gripped her hometown of Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, where she alleged the fake gang operated.
Locals mobilised, her Facebook page garnered over 100,000 followers and her family racked up the thousands in donations to get “justice”.
But her tale and her defence fell apart as CCTV and other evidence foiled the elaborate narrative.
Her daughter was convicted at Preston crown court on January 3 and will be sentenced in March.
Williams’ allegations “ruined” the lives of five men – who faced assault and attacks on their businesses as a result of the allegations.
Jordan Trengove, from Barrow, was sent to prison on remand when falsely accused of rape – he had been playing XBox the night Williams falsely claimed he raped her.
Mr Trengove he tried to move to a new town but Williams’ fake story followed him everywhere and he continued to get harassed.
Williams had also falsely claimed business owner Mohammad Ramzan had groomed her since the age of 12.
JustGiving paid the fundraising cash to Mr Yerrell, who sent it to Mrs Johnston.
A contract between them apparently allows her to keep it until July – after which it must go to charity.
Two have declined the cash but the James Bulger Memorial Trust and a Barrow-based charity will take it.
Mr Yerrell added: “The circumstances have changed entirely from when the contract was drawn up.”
JustGiving said: “The amount donated was released to the fundraiser in line with our usual process.”
Mrs Johnston, a Labour councillor in Barrow, was suspended by the party after the trial, pending a probe.
Since the verdicts, she has reportedly stood by her daughter, telling Mail Online: “There were some things that I do believe were not true. But I do believe that substantially she was telling the truth and was the victim of abuse and trafficking. I don’t believe that Ellie inflicted those injuries on herself.”
