A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after a woman suffered serious stab wounds inside a home.
The victim, in her 20s, was rushed to hospital by emergency services following the attack in Leicestershire on Wednesday, March 15.

Kane Brooks, of Feilding Way, Lutterworth, has been charged with attempted murder and the unlawful wounding of a man with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
The 24-year-old’s second charge relates to the assault of an 18-year-old man, who was also injured during the attack on Enderby Road, Blaby.
Brooks remains in custody awaiting a court appearance at Leicester Magistrates Court today.
Police have confirmed their investigation is ongoing while they continue to speak with people at the scene and potential witnesses.
The force is also vigorously pouring through CCTV footage and carrying out forensic enquiries.
The woman in her 20s remains in hospital, in a serious but stable condition, while the 18-year-old has since been discharged.
Detective Inspector Emma Matts said: “Our investigative work is ongoing as we continue to establish what has happened.
“A team of officers remain in the area speaking with people and gathering information.
“If you do have any information regarding this incident, and have not yet spoken to police, then please do make contact with us.
“This includes checking any CCTV, dashcam footage or doorbell video footage you may have from the area.”
