Horror details emerge as girl, 11, is shot in the head and killed as she used her computer in her home

A SCHOOLGIRL has been killed after she was shot in the head at her home.
The youngster was using her computer when bullets were fired towards her family’s house in Hualpen, Chile, cops say.

She was rushed to hospital, and police are hunting for the attackers.
Angel Campos of the Investigations Police of Chile said: “The minor was on the second floor of her home, when suddenly they (the family) felt a vehicle arrive and heard the shots.
“When they went up to see the minor, they found her with a shot to the skull.”

Cops are investigating whether there is any link to another shooting that happened on Monday.
A 17-year-old boy died after also being shot at from a car, reports infobae.
Miguel Rivera, the town’s mayor slammed the shootings.
He said: “The reflections one makes are how long we are going to be tolerate this type of situation, how long the indolence, how long it takes to make decisions and how many times they are not the right ones.

“It exists to prevent crime . And when there is a reckoning, the logical thing would be to take measures to prevent it from happening again.
“A murder on Monday, a murder and a woman injured on Tuesday. But no action is taken. Nothing change.”
The Presidential Delegate of the region BioBio, Daniela Dresdner, said she would meet with Mr Rivera “to devise a plan that is needs to be reinforced in the Hualpen commune.”
She added: “We have the murder of a minor and it is something that we cannot allow as a Government.
“We have made available to the family (of the girl) all the tools we have (to help), and for the woman who is currently injured at the hospital.”
