Boy, 13, hit and killed by Vauxhall Astra near cinema as tributes pour in for ‘lovely young guy’

A TEEN who was hit by a Vauxhall Astra near a cinema has died and tributes are pouring in for the “lovely young guy”.
Harry Kinney-Ryan, 13, had been fighting for his life since the horror crash on Wednesday.

The horror unfolded around 7.24pm on Wednesday, on East Lancashire Road in Croxteth.
Merseyside Police officers rushed to the scene, closed the road in both directions and quickly confirmed there had been a “serious road traffic collision”
Harry had been hit by a silver Vauxhall Astra estate near the Stonedale Retail Park’s Showcase cinema.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and assisted police with the investigation.
Police had described the the 13-year-old’s condition as critical and said he was in hospital being treated for his injuries.
However, it was today confirmed Harry had tragically died.
The Capital Liverpool news team posted on Twitter: “A 13 year old boy, who was hit by a car near to the Showcase Cinema in Croxteth on Wednesday, has sadly died.

“He’s been named as Harry Kinney-Ryan.”
People were quick to comment on the post, sending their condolences to Harry’s family.
