Liverpool and Wolves face a 2023 Groundhog Day this weekend as they face each for the third time since the start of the year.

Wolves battled back to secure a 2-2 draw at Anfield in the FA Cup third round last month, with Julen Lopetegui’s side seeing a late winner controversially ruled out by VAR before Harvey Elliott’s goal sealed a 1-0 replay victory at Molineux.

That familiarity will be a novelty for fans, but both Lopetegui and Jurgen Klopp are in firm need of a Premier League win after a disappointing January for the pair.

Here’s all the key information on the match including kickoff time, live streaming and TV channels, lineups and betting odds.

Wolves vs Liverpool lineups

Lopetegui has no fresh updates on the injury front, with Pedro Neto the only long-term absentee likely to feature again this season, and Boubacar Traore the latest player ruled out.

Deadline-day signing Joao Gomes will be in the squad, with Lopetegui set to recall Rayan Ait Nouri, Daniel Podence, Pablo Sarabia and Joao Moutinho after resting them for last weekend’s 3-0 loss at Manchester City.

Wolves starting XI (4-3-3): Sa (GK) — Semedo, Collins, Kilman, Ait Nouri — Neves, Moutinho, Nunes — Sarabia, Jimenez, Podence

Wolves subs: Sarkic (GK), Bueno, Cunha, Castro, Lemina, Hodge, Hwang, A. Traore, Costa

France international Ibrahima Konate joined a growing injury list at Anfield in midweek, with fellow centre-back Nat Phillips also struggling, meaning Joel Matip could return to the starting fold.

Captain Jordan Henderson is also in line for a recall, and potentially Darwin Nunez, if Klopp looks to reshuffle his attack.

Liverpool starting XI (4-3-3): Alisson (GK) — Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Matip, Robertson — Henderson, Keita, Thiago — Salah, Gakpo, Nunez

Liverpool subs: Kelleher (GK), Milner, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Elliott, Bajcetic

Wolves vs Liverpool prediction, odds

Neither side have enjoyed a strong start to 2023, with Liverpool failing to win a Premier League game in January, and Wolves manging just one victory across all competitions so far this year.

That respective form sets this game up to be a tense affair, with neither side bursting with confidence, and a battling draw at Molineux could be a strong option.

Prediction: A 1-1 draw
