Wiz Khalifa is a name that’s well-known among fans of rap music. The Pittsburgh native, who often reps sports teams from the Steel City, has had a long career stretching back almost 15 years. He’s released multiple hit songs, including “Young, Wild & Free” with Snoop Dogg, “See You Again” with Charlie Puth and “We Dem Boyz.”

He’s also a basketball fan himself, despite Pittsburgh not having an NBA franchise of its own. He was captured on video hooping with his son and a friend earlier this year.

The rapper is also taking part in The Sum All Star Music Battle, which will air Saturday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. ET on TNT. The event is described as the “first-ever singing competition show with live fan participation.” He’ll go head-to-head with singer Bebe Rexha in a singing battle, with fans at home voting on the best performance.

Ahead of his performances in Salt Lake City this weekend, here’s a look at how much the famed artist has earned throughout his long and successful career:

According to, Wiz Khalifa (who was born Cameron Jibril Thomaz) has a net worth of around $55 million.

That ranks him 29th on their list of the 100 wealthiest rappers. However, other sites have put that number closer to $70 million, so take that with a grain of salt.

In addition to his musical pursuits, the rapper has also had several successful side ventures, many of which have come in the cannabis industry. He’s made it clear that he’s a fan of marijuana through the years in his music and online presence. His medical marijuana brand, Khalifa Kush, has already launched in several states around the country where it has been legalized.

He has also released his own mobile app, called Wiz Khalifa’s Weed Farm, in which he teaches players “how to plant, grow, and harvest the finest herb on earth.” It’s available to users 17 years and older on the App Store and Google Play.

In 2017, Forbes claimed the artist raked in $28 million in one year alone through his side ventures. Whether it’s in the music industry or elsewhere, there’s no doubt Wiz Khalifa has been incredibly successful in his career to date.
