When the Eagles host the 49ers in the NFC championship game Sunday, you can be sure Jeffrey Lurie will be in the building.
The team’s billionaire owner will be watching from the owner’s box at Lincoln Financial Field as his team continues its pursuit of a second Lombardi Trophy. It would also be a second Super Bowl victory in five seasons for the Birds.
The outspoken Lurie made his fortune in the film world and founded of Chestnut Hill Productions. He won an Academy Award in 2011 as a producer for the film “Inside Job.”

In his 28 years at the helm of the franchise, he has helped mold the team into a consistent winner, something no one had been able to do for more than five decades before his arrival.
Here’s who Lurie will be watching the game with as he cheers on his Eagles:
Jeffrey Lurie’s family
Lurie will be joined by his wife of almost 10 years, Tina Lai Lurie.
Lai Lurie is the youngest of eight children in a family of Vietnamese immigrants. In her youth, she helped run the family’s restaurant on South Street in West Philadelphia.
Her parents moved the family to Philadelphia in 1978 to flee the regime in power at the time. It was a long journey that featured a nine-month stop in a Malaysian refugee camp.
“The Lai family came to this country with little more than the clothes on their backs. But with talent, vision, and plenty of hard work, they raised their children and made a success of their businesses. Yes, the Lai family has truly lived the American dream,” the restaurant’s website says. “But the reality wasn’t always so bright. Husband and wife Nhu Lai and Thuyen Luu, together with their eight kids, fled Vietnam in 1978 by boat to Malaysia. They spent nine months in Malaysian refugee camp and then boarded a plane from Malaysia to Philadelphia.”
Jeffrey and Tina have been married since 2013. Lurie’s wife has never held an official role with the team.

Lurie will likely also be joined by his two children, son Julian and daughter Milena. Last year, Julian Lurie was appointed to the Eagles’ business and football operations strategy department.
In the past, Jeffrey Lurie has invited celebrity guests to watch the game from his suite. Noted Eagles fan Bradley Cooper was pictured alongside Lurie during a game in 2015.

Cooper’s status as one of the Eagles’ most high-profile fans comes from his starring role in the 2012 film “Silver Linings Playbook,“ in which he plays a former teacher and die-hard Eagles fan who lives in the Philly suburb of Ridley Park, Pa.
