The big storyline heading into WrestleMania 39 is the saga between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. Zayn finally turning on Reigns at the Royal Rumble was a key part of a story arc lasting over two years that involved Reigns’ Bloodline stable. Part of that story comes to a head on February 18.
Reigns defends the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Zayn at the Elimination Chamber event.
WWE’s premier event will be inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Zayn’s home area. The winner of the title bout will face men’s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. Outside the main event, there are plenty of exciting matchups to catch up on. That includes the traditional Elimination Chamber match, the dangerous steel structure that has helped and harmed careers since 2002.
Below is the full list of matches that will be taking place at the Elimination Chamber event.

Edge and Beth Phoenix vs. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley)
A long-term feud since last summer, Edge is looking for a measure of revenge.
Balor, Priest, and Ripley betrayed Edge, the creator of The Judgment Dat, in June. Following the inclusion of Dominick Mysterio to the group, Edge and Rey Mysterio battled against them for months. Balor beat Edge in an “I Quit” match in October, forcing him out of action (along with Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix).
Edge and Phoenix returned at the Royal Rumble in January, attacking Judgement Day. They later challenged Balor and Rhea to a match. It is a bout that Ripley cannot lose. She is the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble winner and will face Charlotte Flair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 39.

Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley
It is the third singles match between the two behemoths. At the 2022 Royal Rumble, Lashley beat Lesnar. At Crown Jewel in November, Lesnar survived a Lashley onslaught and beat him. However, Lashley beat him down after. After Lesnar interfered in a bout that had Lashley lose the WWE United States Title in January, Lashley eliminated Lesnar in the 2023 men’s Royal Rumble match.
Lesnar challenged Lashley not long after to another bout at the Elimination Chamber event. Both have attempted to soften up the other heading into the match.
