Reuben Garrick will remain at Manly until the end of 2027, signing a four-year contract extension with the club.

The 25-year-old has become one of the Sea Eagles’ most consistent players in recent years, scoring 55 tries in 91 games and filling in at fullback while Tom Trbojevic has been sidelined with injury.

After weeks of media speculation linking him with a potential move to Newcastle, Garrick has opted to stay loyal and will call the Northern Beaches home long-term.

Manly CEO Tony Mestrov described the outside back as one of the club’s most important players.

“Reuben is a very important player at Manly and we are thrilled to have secured his services for a further four years,’’ he said.

“He is well respected by his team-mates. Reuben is a very professional and dedicated athlete who we see as a natural leader amongst our playing squad.”

Garrick is a prolific goal-kicker and made history in 2021, becoming the first player in NRL history to score 20 or more tries and kick 100 or more goals in a single campaign.

The Gerringong product joins the likes of the Trbojevic brothers, Daly Cherry-Evans and Sean Keppie in committing long-term to the Sea Eagles.
