Poland vs Saudi Arabia World Cup lineup, starting 11 for Group C match at Qatar 2022

Saudi Arabia produced one of the great World Cup shocks as they kicked off their group-stage campaign by beating Argentina last time out.

And, against all the odds, they will be into the knockout stages with a game to spare should they claim another scalp in beating Poland next up.

The Poles were left ruing a missed penalty from Robert Lewandowski as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Mexico in their first game.

They know that victory is vital if they are to have hopes of making the Round of 16 themselves.

Below are the predicted lineups for both teams.

Poland vs Saudi Arabia lineups

Poland coach Czeslaw Michniewicz has hinted that he is ready to go all-out attack as Poland look to improve on their drab draw with Mexico.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the game, the 52-year-old declared: “We want to play forward and play bolder. We’re ready to play our way. I think there are two equal teams.”

It has been suggested that a change of formation could be on the cards for Poland for that reason, with Arkadiusz Milik set to be benefit.

The inclusion of another striker would certainly help avoid Barcelona man Lewandowski being left as isolated as he was in his country’s opening game.
