Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker have both officially re-signed with South Sydney, giving fans and the club an early Christmas present.

The superstar duo, who have become a lethal attacking combination for the Rabbitohs in recent years, will both remain at the club for the foreseeable future after inking new contracts.

Latrell will remain at the Bunnies until the end of 2027, signing for a further four seasons and allowing the club to continue to build around their superstar player at fullback.

Walker on the other hand has inked a fresh two-year extension, keeping him at Redfern until the end of 2025.

The 32-year-old had received plenty of interest from other clubs, but opted to remain a one-club player.

The pair combined to take the Rabbitohs to the prelim final in 2021 – their fifth-straight appearance – and will be hoping to bring a premiership home in 2023.

Both players will front the media on Wednesday morning to delve into their decisions to commit to the Rabbitohs long-term.

The news of Walker and Latrell’s extension comes just days after Damien Cook signed on for a further two years, keeping him at Souths until at least the end of 2025.

More to come…
