More cricket is on the way before the New Year, with Australia to welcome the West Indies for a two-match Test series.
The nations last faced off in October, when they played a two-game T20 series as a warm-up ahead of the T20 World Cup.
Notably, the West Indies have not won a Test in Australia since 1997, having lost 12 of their 14 games in the country.
However, they emerged victorious in their most recent series against England and Bangladesh, so will arrive Down Under with a sense of confidence.
The Sporting News takes you through all the key details ahead of the series.
