Arsenal vs. Juventus live stream, predicted lineups for mid-season friendly at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal are set to face Juventus in what will be their final mid-season friendly before they resume their domestic campaign after the World Cup break.

After playing back-to-back friendlies in Dubai, the North London side return to the Emirates Stadium to take on the Bianconeri.

Mikel Arteta’s side sit top of the Premier League table and have a five-point lead over Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. The Gunners will go straight into a London derby as they come up against West Ham United in the league on Boxing Day, meaning now is the time to get their preparations in order.

Arteta’s men have had a successful start to the season, losing just one match, and that seems to be continuing in their friendlies. They comfortably beat Lyon 3-0 in their first Dubai Super Cup game before edging past AC Milan 2-1.

Eddie Nketiah has been starting up top for Arsenal and the academy graduate may have to fill Gabriel Jesus’ boots for an extended period of time after the Brazilian suffered a knee injury at the World Cup. The Arsenal boss is yet to put a time frame on his striker’s injury.

Juventus are in third position in Serie A, 10 points off leaders Napoli. They have had their fair share of struggles to start this season after being knocked out of the Champions League group stages and dropping down to the Europa League.

Which players are available for Arsenal?

Arsenal had 10 members of their squad selected to represent their nations in Qatar at the World Cup, the fifth-most of any Premier League club. After Japan, Ghana and USA were eliminated, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Thomas Partey and Matt Turner came back early. Ben White left the England squad early due to personal reasons, but England have now been knocked out of the tournament anyway by William Saliba’s France.

Jesus returned from the Brazil squad to start his knee recovery and is not expected to feature any time soon. Arsenal have relied on Nketiah and Reiss Nelson during their friendlies in Dubai, both of whom got themselves on the scoresheet.
