The wives and girlfriends of Wales players know how to party.
A group of WAGs let loose in Dubai the night before Wales is scheduled to face England in a 2022 World Cup elimination game on Tuesday, according to a number of Instagram posts.
In one photo, centre back Chris Mepham’s fiancee, Jodie Francis, and Ethan Ampadu’s partner, Saara Sa, are seen taking shots at what appears to be a beach club.
The bikini-clad pair shared a toast near a bunch of bottles that were lined up near day beds in the sand, The New York Post reports.
Wales midfielder Matt Smith’s fiancee, Emma, documented the boozy festivities, where she posed for selfies with Jodie and Nicole Hagan, who’s linked to full-back Neco Williams. Emma also snapped a mirror selfie of herself wearing a dark-coloured bikini.
In another post, one WAG attempts a cartwheel while wearing a swimsuit. She apparently clashed with a table during the stunt as others looked on and laughed.
Separate posts show the Wales WAGs standing around a table that is covered with a variety of food. Rebecca Naylor, the girlfriend of goalkeeper Danny Ward, was also present during the outing.
While the Wales WAGs were partying in Dubai, the wives and girlfriends of England players reportedly bonded with their children and enjoyed shopping alongside FA officials.
In May, Mepham proposed to Jodie, who is a model, at The Palm in Dubai. Ampadu and Saara welcomed a baby boy in August.
