A wild brawl broke out at a Kathmandu store after a woman allegedly stole a wig.

The bizarre fracas took place at the clothing store’s outlet at Westfield Parramatta at about 5.30pm on Monday.

The fight started when the store’s manager told the woman to put the wig back, 9 News reported.

NSW Police said two women tried to steal an item from the shop.

“When two shopkeepers tried to intervene, a scuffle ensued, and two shopkeepers were assaulted,” a police spokesman said.

“One of the shopkeepers suffered minor injuries, however did not require treatment.”

Two women, aged 19 and 22, were arrested after they returned to the store.

No charges have been laid.
