When one of Rihanna’s Instagram followers criticised the singer for calling her 9-month-old son “fine”, she didn’t hesitate to clap back.

The social media exchange happened on Wednesday after the Grammy winner re-posted a photo from her family’s British Vogue spread, writing, “my son so fine! Idc idc idc!”

The hater asked, “who calls a baby fine?”.

Rihanna, 34, replied, “his mother!!!”.

After another fan said he was “more like cute (and) adorable” since he’s not a “grown man,” the new mum wrote, “you just keep your lil cougar paws away from him and we good!”.

She shared another sweet snap of her and A$AP Rocky’s son, whose name they have yet to reveal, calling him “perfect”.

The pregnant songwriter went on to reference her little one on the way in the caption, gushing, “How crazy both of my babies were in these photos and mummy had no clue”.

Rihanna became a parent in May 2022, revealing at her Super Bowl halftime show that she is pregnant again.

The Fenty Beauty creator told the magazine that she is “down for whatever” in terms of the sex of baby No. 2.

“Whatever God wants for me, I’m here. Girl, boy,” she said.

As for how many children she and the rapper, 34, see in their future, the makeup mogul poked fun at a 2020 interview in which she expressed wanting three or four.

“Oh, s – t,” she joked. “You really gotta be careful with your mouth.”

Rihanna looked back on her first few days of motherhood, calling them a “headf – k” that left her feeling like a “zombie.”

However, she called motherhood a “legendary” experience, saying that her life before her son “doesn’t matter” anymore.

Rihanna loves being “of service” to her baby, who is currently “obsessed” with A$AP and favours the record executive.

“The second Rocky makes eye contact with him he is on fire,” Rihanna explained. “I’m like, ‘Didn’t I give birth to you? What is going on?’”

As for new music, the lingerie designer teased an album release as soon as “this year,” saying waiting any longer would be “ridiculous”.
