An inner-city Victorian terrace that last sold in 2021 has re-entered the market after a stunning renovation with price expectations over $1m higher than its previous sale price.
The four bedroom and three bathroom property at 12 Wigram Rd in Glebe had previously been purchased for $2.45m in December two years ago.

Mr Kalcic also replicated the style of Victorian terraces in 1886, by using imported Italian marble and handmade tiles with ceiling roses and cornices.
BresicWhitney’s Luke Grosvenor is handling the listing and said the property would receive a high level of interest with its north-to-rear aspect and location that allowed buyers to walk into the city.
“When the market’s changing, buyers tend to shift their focus more deliberately towards quality and the value proposition of a home.

“In and around the Inner West we are seeing this take the form of good demand for newly renovated homes, and we expect the campaign for this property to reflect that.”
Mr Grosvenor said the vendors spent most of their time in the property restoring and renovating it, adding contemporary touches such as oak flooring and a butler’s pantry.
While some areas in the Inner West slowed down over the Christmas period, there were a number of notable sales in Glebe during December.
The property has a buyers guide of $3.5m.

These include 35 Allen St which sold for an anticipated price over $5m, and a property at 56 Wigram Rd that sold for $3.55m.
Both properties were sold via BresicWhitney and were federation or Victorian residences that had been recently renovated.
“Glebe remains a favourite among buyers who loved its blend of culture, connectivity and neighbourhood feel. Key 2022 sales results reflected this ongoing demand, and we anticipate this will remain a theme over the next 12 months.”
The property is set to be auctioned off on the 22nd February.
