A man and a woman have died after a car crash in the New England area of NSW.
Emergency services were called to the Newell Hwy in Moree about 7am on Sunday following reports a car and hit a tree.
Before paramedics arrived at the scene witnesses provided CPR, however the man and the woman, both believed to be in their 30s, died at the scene.
Officers at the New England Police District have established a crime scene and inquiries remain ongoing.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage that might be relevant to the investigation are urged to call Moree Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
