55 Placadena Rd, Fingal, has a glamping tent and swimming pool.
A house with a glamping tent and stone outdoor bath is bringing luxe Byron Bay spa style to the Mornington Peninsula.
Close to St Andrews Beach, the four-bedroom home at 55 Placadena Rd, Fingal, is for sale with a $3.9m-$4.3m asking range.
The 2.08ha property includes a 12m by 5m solar-heated swimming pool set among Ti trees and native gardens, with an orchard, beehives and chicken coop.

Milchman Real Estate Sorrento director Liza Milchman said the owners had installed a large deck with an “glamping teepee” and an outdoor rock-hewn bathtub and shower near the pool.
An in-ground speaker system in the garden and pool domain can play music.
“It’s like a Byron Bay hinterland resort, like when you go to the spa,” Ms Milchman said.
“They go down to the pool and swim and have a bath every night under the stars.”
Ms Milchman said the tent, which provides a retreat during parties and play space for youngsters, would be included in the house’s sale.

Separate from the main house, an American-style barn and self-contained one bedroom studio provide accommodation for visitors.
Three bathrooms, a steam room and gymnasium help make the property “an entertainer’s paradise”.
“You could have weddings there, it is huge and there is still land at the back which is just bush,” Ms Milchman added.
A modular fireplace warms the living area.

One of the owners, a builder, constructed the house about 22 years ago and added the studio nine years ago.
“When you look at the main house, everything looks brand new, it’s in absolutely timeless style,” Ms Milchman said.
She said her favourite thing about the house was travelling down the “long, winding driveway” to arrive at the fertile garden where lots of produce grows.

“You would literally park the car, go down to the main house and there’s such a brilliant garden you could pick vegetables before you cook dinner,” she said.
Other features include bore water, a workshop and shed, water tanks and an automated sprinkler system.
