A stunning Safety Beach home with a super-sized berth is for sale.

It’s BYO boat at this water-lover’s dream home in Safety Beach’s Martha Cove marina, complete with a super-sized berth big enough for a 21m-plus yacht.

Eight luxury bedrooms join a heated infinity edge pool and stunning views of the marina and Port Philip Bay at the 20 Brindabella Point address.

Vendors Jake and Bri Reed built the home in 2020, employing local draftsman Justin Lewis to help their “dream design” come to life.

The home was purpose-built by its vendors in 2020.

A huge alfresco entertaining area is centred around an infinity edge pool overlooking the marina.

It was purpose-built as a holiday home to accommodate a number of guests with multiple, spacious living zones and bedrooms, plus plenty of outdoor space for children to play.

“We’ve got quite a large family and love entertaining and having friends come and stay to have that amazing holiday experience,” Ms Reed said.

“It was about designing a house that had those separate living zones to accommodate a lot of people and families and not be on top of each other.”

Mr Reed added they wanted to capture the water views and “amazing scenery” over the marina, and enjoyed watching yachts sailing past at sunset.

“We held Christmas there for a couple of years and had New Year’s and birthday parties … there’s plenty of memories,” he said.

“We love the boating aspect, we have quite a large boat out the back and being able to jump off the jet skis with our kids was pretty special.”

Inside, there’s a fully-equipped theatre room.

Plus stunning views of the marina from each room.

The 1318sq m property boasts a number of quality features, including a 4m-high timber entrance, polished concrete flooring and a huge alfresco entertaining area leading out from the ground floor kitchen and living area.

Here there’s a built-in concrete bar with a barbecue and fridge, floating concrete seating, a gas fire pit and a central, infinity edge heated pool and spa overlooking the water.

Upstairs, the spacious main bedroom comes with a custom walk-in wardrobe and luxe, marble-clad ensuite, while a 6m-high glass walkway leads to a lounge room with stunning views, marble cabinetry and a hidden bar sink.

“There’s a green, ice marble bar built in and you’re elevated and looking out over the pool and entertaining area, out past the marina,” Ms Reed said.

“It’s a nice, quiet space to retreat and soak in the views.”

The ground floor also offers a large theatre room, complete with new cinema equipment, and a glamorous kitchen with Porcelain waterfall island benchtops, Wolf appliances and a butler’s pantry.

The luxe home is packed with natural light.

There’s also five, marble-clad bathrooms.

And a glamorous kitchen that opens out onto the undercover deck.

Danckert Real Estate Mt Martha agent Ian Ross said one of the best features of the home was that there were “no dark corridors”, allowing for plenty of natural light throughout.

“People don’t expect what’s on the other side of the front door,” Mr Ross said.

“As soon as you walk in it’s sort of mesmerising, and it’s still pretty private for a waterfront home.”

Inquiries have come from buyers looking for a holiday home, especially those with a boating interest as its accompanying berth is one of the biggest in the area.

“You can fit a 70.5ft (21.5m) boat on the marina which is pretty rare, there’s nothing left on the marina to house a boat that size,” he said.

“The main attraction, apart from the house, is the boat access … you can get in and out quite easily.”

The property is slated for an $8.65m-$9.5m sale, with inspections available by private appointment only.
