Eager fans of British pop sensation Harry Styles have been warned against partaking in a common concert tradition, and warned they’d be removed from the venue if they do.

Perth venue HBF Park warned Harry Styles ticket holders attending the show on Monday, February 20, not to camp in line the night before the concert.

“For the wellbeing and safety of our patrons, camping for the Harry Styles Love on Tour Concert is strictly prohibited,” HBF said on social media.

“Any patrons queuing or camping prior to 8am on event day will be asked to move.

“No priority entry will be given to anyone camping outside the venue prior to event day, and fan made early line systems will not be honoured.”

Dozens of fans have had conflicting reactions, with some applauding the venue for putting the foot down on lines.

“Had to be done,” one person wrote.

“What a shame to the certain people trying to camp, say they’re priority and do wristbands,” said another.

“This is fantastic, thank you. My son is going to the show with his girlfriend, I just want them to have a good time,” one woman commented.

Others joked about arriving at the venue a minute after the park’s strict 8am no-line time.

“Okay, I’ll be there at 8:01am,” one user commented.

Hundreds of parody videos have landed on social media app TikTok, with fans saying they were already in line for the show at least 5 days before it starts.

Tickets to the Perth leg of Styles’ Love on Tour show sold out within minutes after release.
