IT’S been admired online by thousands and crowned the city’s house of 2022.
Now, one of the Gold Coast’s most Insta-worthy homes has hit the market.
Villa Casa, at 15 Abbey Ridge Rd, Reedy Creek, is described as the “pinnacle of luxe Mediterranean perfection”.
Curves, arches, limestone walls, and greenery combine to create a one-of-a-kind hillside house with 180-degree views of the Gold Coast skyline.
Property records reveal vendors Ben Rochford and Dominee Gessner paid $1 million for the 4497sq m vacant block in August, 2018.
They enlisted Reece Keil Design with the house design while Mr Rochford’s company Tidal Constructions was behind the build.
Reece Keil said his clients wanted a “showstopper” house.
“The project brief for Villa Casa was to design something ‘like no other’ using the slope of the site to maximise the expanse of coastal views and provide a liveable, free flowing floor plan that embraced its location and outlook while cocooning its interior,” Mr Keil said.
“The versatility and structural integrity of concrete construction was to be explored and featured in the building’s external form and internal fabric and the home had to function well as a family home, capable of housing many guests and hosting many parties.”

The build was documented on Instagram with a flurry of interest and, as well as being a family home, has also been rented out as a photo shoot location.
It was recognised across the state when Tidal Constructions was awarded House of the Year at the Gold Coast Master Builders Awards earlier this year.
The residence features a stunning kitchen with a half-moon island bench that flows into a living zone.
High ceilings and floor to ceiling windows enable plenty of light to filer in.
There are five bedrooms with ensuites including the main bedroom which features a 4m headboard and a vaulted tunnel leading to a dressing room and day-spa worthy ensuite.
Back outside and the amenities are reminiscent of the Mediterranean’s finest hotels.
Soak up the sunshine on the terrace that runs alongside the magnesium pool, or grab a drink from the swim-up bar.
Entertaining is also effortless with a terrace with built-in barbecue.
Amir Prestige agents Justin Haynes and Amir Mian are marketing the property via an expressions of interest campaign closing November 19.
