Dane Swan is an AFL champion who won the 2011 Brownlow Medal and 2010 premiership with Collingwood.
FIRST HOME:
The first home I bought was in Kingsville (now for sale). I loved the freedom to come and go as I pleased and just do what I wanted and not have to answer to anyone in the house.
That was the greatest thing about owning my first home; the freedom to do what I liked, and it was mine.
Initially I was on my own and then I said one of my old teammates Guy Richards, who said he was looking to buy, could live with me for nothing for a couple of months.
Four years later in he was still there and hadn’t paid a cent. I said he could go halves with me and he was out of there in three weeks.

The two-bedroom house at 74 Coronation Street, Kingsville, is for sale for $800,000-$850,000.
CURRENT HOME:
I’m in Prahran now and what I love most is the proximity to everything.
You’re very close to Chapel St and I just enjoy being able to walk everywhere.
I don’t have to drive anywhere, you can just walk up and down and have restaurants, shops, supermarkets and bars – not that I get to do that much anymore with a young family but it’s nice to have the option there.
DREAM HOME:
I’ve got absolutely no idea. Wherever my family are happy. I could live anywhere. I don’t need to make 10s of millions of dollars or need to live in a mansion or a shoebox, as long as I have a bit of me time every now and then and can leave the room and watch some TV on my own. It doesn’t bother me where or how – so long as we’re happy.

It will auctioned November 5.
