Bargain hunters are raving about the slashed price of a summer item from one retail giant.
Big W’s Intex Swim Centre Family Lounge Pool originally retailed by $79 – but customers have reported snapping it up for $39.50 as summer comes to a close.
“Just picked this up from Booval Big W (QLD) for $39.50,” one customer shared on Facebook.
“They are on clearance they were $79. Perfect for a hot summer afternoon.”
Other social media users expressed their excitement over the product, which is mostly sold out across the country.
“We have one. Love it. Put chlorine tabs in a dispenser to keep it clean. Good for a quick dip to cool down or sit in and have a beer on the weekend,” one said.
“Doesn’t take a lot of water so can easily empty and refill if needed.”
Another said the cup holders in the design came in handy as well.
One added: “The absolute BEST place to set up this bad boy is your LIVING ROOM!
“Not even kidding, only fill it halfway though and put a tarp under it to prevent water damage to the carpet/floorboards.,”
One social media user tagged their friend, excitedly saying the duo should get it for one of their houses.
When the pool is blown up, it measures to be 66cm in height, band 2.29 metres in width and diameter.
It has four built in seats and two drink holders.
In Australia, if a pool or spa has a depth of more than 30 centimetres, it is required to be surrounded by a safety barrier.
This includes inflatable pools, with safety barriers needing to be at least 1.2 metres in height.
The excitement comes as Big W launches its Click Bonanza sale, which is an online sale that runs until February 19.
The sale includes 30 per cent off selected swim and outdoor toys.
