Aldi fans are obsessing over a new addition to the German chain.
Most recently, dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets have been popularised over social media, with people recreating a Jurassic scene with a mashed potato mountain and gravy lava.
But Aldi have risen to the challenge and created a new nugget shape just in time for the festive season.
Aldi recently released turkey breast chicken nuggets in the shape of Christmas trees.
The Turkey Breast Christmas Tree Nuggets 350g can be found in the supermarket’s fridge section.
Hundreds of social media comments flooded in on a recent post about the new item, with many eager to try the new Christmas food from the German supermarket chain.
One social media user said: “Hope they still have them closer to Christmas cos they can’t be frozen and they wouldn’t last till then for various reasons lol.”
“Tried them out last night and they were delicious,” said someone who had gotten their hands on the treat.
Another said: “Guess what I’m adding to my Xmas platter!”
“This is a must for Christmas,” one person informed people on the fence.
Another added: “My kids would love these.”
One tagged a friend in the comments section and wrote: “We need to add these to our trolleys this week.”
The item retail for $5.99 and are only available while stocks last.
