Closer to Melbourne, Kim and David Easterbrook and their young family love walking to the beach almost daily.
The couple are selling their sleek four-bedroom home at 92 Ruskin St — which they bought off Paul Roos and his wife Tami in 2016 — with price hops of $4.4m-$4.6m.
“We walk to the beach pretty much every day down Elwood Canal right up to Elwood Beach. It’s walking distance if you want to go for a swim,” Ms Easterbrook said.
“We’re moving to another place just as close to the beach because we love it so much; we’re staying around here and not moving too far away.”

Featuring a sunken lounge with a gas fireplace and an elegant dining zone, this space incorporates a gourmet kitchen where a Bertazzoni oven, Miele dishwasher and twin Vintec fridges make for an ideal entertainer.
The couple, who run Elite Buyer Agents and Boutique Buyer Agents, just welcomed newborn Chloe to the family, joining daughter Lucy, 3, and dog Molly.
Ms Easterbrook said it was a safe area and “one of the best pockets of Elwood”.

The house’s highlights include an Euro laundry, hydronic heating and ducted heating and cooling, split systems, security cameras and a double auto-garage with rear laneway access.
A striking facade makes an immediate impression, with a run of skylights letting plenty of natural light shine through the stylish interiors.
A lap pool at the rear completes the enticing summer package.
