saw the largest decline Friday, as shares shed 2.53%
Shares of investment advisors firm Intermediate Capital Group PLC
and major oil & gas company BP PLC
dropped 1.97% and 1.75%, respectively.
Melrose Industries PLC
a building materials/products company, and general services firm Ashtead Group PLC
rounded out the top five largest decreases as their stocks dropped 1.53% and 1.45%, respectively.
Associated British Foods PLC
a food products company, saw the largest increase among FTSE 100 constituents, as shares rallied 5.04% on Friday.
Shares of aerospace products/parts firm Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC
and investment advisors company Hargreaves Lansdown PLC
rallied 3.82% and 2.25%, respectively.
a non-ferrous metals company, and broadcasting business ITV PLC
rounded out the top five largest increases as their stocks climbed 2.06% and 1.98%, respectively.
The pound was up 0.24% against dollar
at $1.2285 and 0.33% against the euro
rose 0.0% to $86.91, and the yield on the 10-year gilt
rose 4.790 basis points to 3.153%.
