Microsoft
early Wednesday said it was investigating reports of outages to services including Teams and Outlook, as thousands of users reported being unable to access the products.

Microsoft
(MSFT) said it was rolling back a network change that it believed was causing the outages and it is monitoring the service.

“Any user serviced by the affected infrastructure may be unable to access multiple
Microsoft
365 services,” Microsoft said in a service-health update on its website. It also said the issue was affecting connectivity to its Azure cloud-computing services for a subset of users

The outages came a day after Microsoft kicked off earnings season for technology companies with a quarterly update that defied the worst fears around its cloud-computing growth but offered disappointing guidance for the March quarter.

Microsoft stock was down 1.9% in premarket trading, having closed down 0.2% on Tuesday.
