Acrivon Therapeutics

RA Capital revealed a fresh stake of 4,813,442 shares in the clinical-stage pharmaceutical firm, including 2,934 shares underlying options. RA Capital purchased 3,389,500 shares at $12.50 each through Acrivon’s November initial public offering. RA Capital gained another 1,421,008 Acrivon shares through the conversion of pre-IPO convertible preferred securities immediately after the offering closed on Nov. 17. RA Capital now owns a 23.1% stake in Acrivon.

Increases in Holdings


OrbiMed Advisors lifted its position in the pharmaceutical company to 5,559,528 shares. On Nov. 25, OrbiMed purchased 762,380 scPharmaceuticals shares through an offering that priced those shares at $5.25 apiece. Following the offering’s close, OrbiMed holds 16.4% in scPharmaceuticals’ outstanding stock.

Tenaya Therapeutics

Casdin Capital bought 2,492,042 shares in the pharmaceutical firm through a Nov. 11 offering, raising its stake in Tenaya by 63%, to 6,427,200 shares. Casdin bought those Tenaya shares at a price of $2.60 each, lifting its stake to 9.9%. Those ownership figures exclude 1,354,111 warrants that Casdin bought in connection with the stock offering at the same per share price. Casdin can exercise the warrants only if the resulting shares do not push its Tenaya interest above 9.99% of the outstanding stock.

Decreases in Holdings

Myers Industries

Gamco Investors (GBL) trimmed its holding in the maker of plastics and automotive tools to 5,364,631 shares. From Sept. 26 through Nov. 23, Gamco sold 85,355 Myers shares at prices ranging from $16.73 through $22.71 each. Those sales far outweigh Gamco’s purchase of 1,013 Myers shares from Oct. 6 through Nov. 1 at per share prices ranging from $16.52 to $20.65. Gamco now holds a 14.7% stake in Myers.


Magnetar Capital lowered its position in the maker of automated cleaning devices to 1,362,995 shares. Magnetar sold 162,589 iRobot shares from Nov. 4 through Nov. 28 at prices ranging from $51.76 to $55.93 apiece. On Aug. 5, iRobot announced that it agreed to be bought by
(AMZN) for $61 per share in cash. On Nov. 22, London-based nonprofit Foxglove issued a letter to the United Kingdom’s Competition and Markets Authority, asking the agency to investigate Amazon’s proposal. This follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s request for additional information about the deal in September. Magnetar now holds 4.98% of iRobot’s shares, just shy of the 5% threshold that would require disclosure of any further iRobot stock sales.
