European stocks decreased Monday, as the Stoxx Europe 600 index
closed down 0.65% to 437.85.
The German DAX
dropped 1.09% to 14,383.36, the French CAC 40 index
weakened 0.70% to 6,665.20 and the FTSE 100 index
dropped 0.17% to 7,474.02.
Of the Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, chemicals company Brenntag SE
saw the largest drop Monday, as shares dropped 9.7%
Shares of footwear firm Dr. Martens PLC
and industrial/office reits company alstria office REIT-AG
dropped 7.0% and 6.7%, respectively.
Orron Energy AB
an oil extraction company, and publishing firm Future PLC
rounded out the top five largest decreases as their stocks declined 6.1% and 5.9%, respectively.
a multiutilities company, saw the largest increase among Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, as shares jumped 14.5% on Monday.
Shares of software firm Samhaellsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB Series B
and general mining company Polymetal International PLC
gained 4.2% and 3.6%, respectively.
a biotechnology company, and internet/online firm Prosus N.V.
rounded out the top five largest increases as their stocks added 3.5% and 3.4%, respectively.

rose 0.26% to $83.93.
The yield on the 10-year gilt
increased 0.73 basis points to 3.127%, and the yield on the German 10-year bund
rose 1.900 basis points to 2.00%.
