The Western Bulldogs will be hoping its new, ominous weapon can exposed an injury-hit Melbourne on Saturday night as the two finals contenders clash at the MCG.

The Bulldogs, who were knocked out of last year’s finals series in the first week, have named big-name recruit Rory Lobb, who’ll patrol the same forward 50 as fellow key forwards Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, Aaron Naughton and Sam Darcy.

Those four bigs will be hoping to expose the backline of last year’s Melbourne, which will be without dual All-Australian Steven May due to a calf issue. May this week joined Jack Viney, Christian Salem and Bayley Fritsch on the injury list.
