QETA Conference 2006
The 2006 QETA Conference will be held in Brisbane. QETA is seeking classroom teachers to present a
session (or share a session with others) relating to interesting/novel
ideas in teaching Economics. In particular, we would like to be able to
offer sessions on the following:
- Teaching composite classes
- Interesting ideas for assessment
- Interesting school-based electives
- Using ICTs in Economics
- Catering for the lower ability student in Economics
- Promoting Economics to Year 10s
- Economics in SOSE and/or Business
- Approaches to using inquiry in Economics
- Any other suitable idea/topic
If you have an idea for a presentation, please let us know. We would
like to have some of our sessions filled by practising classroom teachers
of Economics. We all have ideas, and this is a great opportunity
to share those. (It also looks good on a CV).
