Youth Entrepreneurship Report

A new report from Department of Industry Science and Resources is available and may be of interest to teachers. The report finds that young Australians (aged 15-24) have an overwhelming positive attitude to entrepreneurship and generally believe they have the skills to become entrepreneurs. Furthermore, they want to put these skills into practice by starting their own business. The report demonstrates that the level of entrepreneurial activity among young Australians is very much open to influence by policy makers and educators. The report can be accessed electronically at www.isr.gov.au/industry/emerging
