Steps to Follow:

  1. Seek permission from your school.
  2. Decide who you are working with. (alone or group)
  3. Complete the online Registration form.
  4. Check the web site and Email regularly for updates.
  5. Develop your Multimedia Christmas or Holiday Greetings Card.
  6. Develop a short narrative page about your card and link it to your card.
  7. Put the Multimedia Card onto your school’s web site by the closing date. Include a URL back to the Card.
  8. Complete the online "Add My Entry" form by the closing date ensuring the URL of your entry is correct.
  9. Browse other entries.
  10. Participate in peer judging.
  11. Send your Christmas card or Holiday Greetings card to friends around the world.
    Hint- send friends a message with the URL of your card so they will come to your site to see it rather than emailing them the whole thing.
  12. Check the Awards page.
  13. Use the Send-a-card site to view top 12 entries and send Christmas cards or Holiday Greetings around the world.

Rules

  • All work in the design and construction of the Multimedia Card must be that of the student/ students registered in the project.
  • The school must endorse the student’s entry in the competition via the registration of the school’s URL.
  • The completed Multimedia Card must include a URL link back to this project site at the bottom of the Card.
  • The completed Multimedia Card must be available for viewing on the school’s web page for at least 6 weeks from the close of the competition. The URLs submitted at the time entries are submitted will be provided on this site as a gallery listing at the close of the competition to allow viewing of entries.
  • The completed Multimedia Card site must include a button (link) to a Narrative Page which records the learning experience. It is anticipated that other students will be able to learn and gather fresh ideas through browsing entries and their accompanying Narrative Pages. The Narrative Page should be constructed by the entrant and may include headings such as:
    - The Process
    - The Tools I Used
    - Things I Learnt.
  • Each entrant will participate in peer judging at the close of the project, using the judging criteria supplied, and supply written comments and suggestions via Email.
  • It is a condition of entry that Toshiba and Aussie School House reserve the right to the use of any entries in any promotional material.
