Aussie SchoolHouse Foundation's Purpose

One of the key issues in relation to the use of the Internet in schools is what and how it can be used to promote improved teaching/learning. While teachers face many issues in relation to gaining Internet access, it is vital that they have a valid reason to use the Internet and support for them in their efforts to learn about this technology and how they can use it. Based on the success of the Global SchoolHouse Community model, an Australian focal point for Internet use in education can serve to support schools as they undertake gaining Internet access and making best use of the tools available to them.
